Elon Musk revealed that the crew of the Fram2 mission from SpaceX has become the first in the world to orbit Earth’s poles.
The Falcon 9 rocket, with a SpaceX Dragon on top, was successfully launched last Tuesday (1) from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The launch is part of Fram2 mission by SpaceX, which was started as an attempt by Elon Musk’s company to orbit Earth from pole to pole.

Now, the four astronauts aboard the Dragon spacecraft will remain in orbit for about four to five days. During the mission, the crew will pass over both the North and South Poles of Earth several times a day.
In a statement, they said the mission could help “unlock new possibilities for human spaceflights and provide a deeper understanding of our planet and its polar regions.”
Hello, Antarctica.
Unlike previously anticipated, from 460 km above, it is only pure white, no human activity is visible. pic.twitter.com/i7JawFYzW2
